Beloved, With great joy we welcome you to this Web site. We know that you will find so much more than information here, but an opportunity to preface the worship experience or extend it. The Bible teaches us that the people of God would meet at the gate to hear an important announcement or reading of the law. And, it was also the place where the king would find an audience. Once past the gates the people would come through the courts to celebrate. Doesn’t that sound just like what Sunday morning should be? A thankful time to meet with other believers who are all gathered for the same purpose: to be the audience of our King, the Lord Jesus, who is the Christ; to hear the preacher say all the words the Lord commands (Jeremiah 26:2) as well as a word of encouragement (II Chronicles 32.6); and to praise God because He is sovereign. As you scroll through these pages we pray that this sense of community is what will unfold for you until we meet again at the gate and in the court of Mt. Zion! Blessings…. |
